The preparation of financial information is the beginning of a process where I work with my clients to assist in the planning of my client’s affairs and getting to know their business. This process includes the determination of the appropriate type of report engagement meets their needs. Often during this stage, I can also add value by applying tax-planning and other business advisory expertise to help get the most out of the business or organization.
Reports include compilations (notice to reader) and review engagements which are used by my clients for many purposes including: reporting to shareholders/managers for monitoring purposes, reporting to banks and lending institutions for financing purposes, reporting on compliance with various statutory requirements and annual filings with Canada Revenue Agency.
